This live session takes the movement-pattern framework from TOTs and Speech: Seeing Speech Sounds as Movement Patterns and puts it to work on real clinical problems submitted by the people in the room. Rather than reviewing the training content, we work at the application layer: what to do when a case stalls, how to sort structural contributors from functional ones, and where a referral belongs in the sequence.

Questions are collected in advance and grouped into topic domains so the session moves with purpose.

Prerequisite: Completion of TOTs and Speech: Seeing Speech Sounds as Movement Patterns is expected before attending. This is an intermediate-level course and assumes working familiarity with pediatric speech sound disorders and orofacial structure and function.

Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

Apply the movement-pattern framework to clinician-submitted cases involving persistent speech sound errors.
Differentiate structural from functional contributors in cases that have not responded to traditional articulation therapy.
Prioritize next assessment or referral steps for cases with suspected tethered oral tissue involvement.
Troubleshoot barriers to integrating oral resting posture goals into an existing speech caseload.

Hallie Bulkin, MA, CCC-SLP, CMT®, CPFT®

Hallie is a speech-language pathologist and the CEO and founder of Elevation Movement, LLC, which owns The Integrated Therapist™ and Feed The Peds®. She specializes in transforming SLPs, OTs, PTs, RDHs, and Dentists into pediatric feeding therapists and orofacial myofunctional therapists. She opened her private practice in 2014 focusing on collaborative holistic care in pediatric speech-language and sensory-oral motor feeding, and further specialized in orofacial myofunctional, airway, and tethered oral tissue issues. She launched the Untethered Podcast in 2019 and developed The Myo Method® and CMT® Certification for assessing and treating orofacial myofunctional disorders.

You will receive an email with a self reflection survey and quiz to complete in order to receive your certificate of completion and be submitted to the CE registry.

How do I obtain continuing education credit?

Following the live session, a survey and quiz is sent electronically via Kajabi and email. You must complete the survey and quiz and click submit in order to be reported to the ASHA CE Registry and receive a certificate of completion. A passing score of 80% is required. The certificate of completion will be available for immediate download following submission. This must be completed within 7 days of the session.

How do I submit my questions?

Questions are collected in advance so they can be grouped into topic domains. Submit yours through your Integrated Therapist™ portal by August 22, 2026. Live questions are welcome as time allows, but submitting early is the best way to make sure yours gets covered.

Is this session live?

Yes. This is a live synchronous session held on Zoom on Tuesday, August 25, 2026 at 8:00 PM ET. The Zoom link will be sent by email and posted in your portal ahead of the session.
