COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Speech sounds are movement patterns, and every one of them depends on the structure available, the movement the system can organize, and the sensory information guiding it. This 75-minute prerecorded training gives you a framework for seeing what is happening underneath the sound, and for recognizing when oral structure or function may be interfering.
You will work through the sound families one at a time, including alveolars, sibilants, velars, rhotics, and bilabials, examining what each one requires and what may limit it. From there you will learn a framework for differentiating likely phonological patterns from motor, structural, myofunctional, or mixed presentations. Three case examples run throughout the training so the patterns stay tied to real caseloads rather than theory.
You will finish knowing what to examine, what belongs in your treatment plan, and when a referral or collaboration is the better next move. Because this training is prerecorded, you can pause, rewind, and revisit any section at your own pace.

PRESENTER: Hallie Bulkin, MA, CCC-SLP, CMT®, CPFT®
Hallie Bulkin, MA CCC-SLP, CMT®, CPFT™, is a Wife, Mama, Business Owner & Mentor. She specializes in transforming SLPs, OTs, PTs, RDHs, and Dentists into pediatric feeding therapists and orofacial myofunctional therapists. Hallie also helps overworked clinicians become online entrepreneurs by turning their passion into successful online businesses. Before founding her own company, Hallie worked as a speech-language pathologist (SLP) in schools and private practice. In 2014, she opened her private practice, focusing on collaborative holistic care in pediatric speech-language and sensory-oral motor feeding. She further specialized in orofacial myofunctional, airway, and tethered oral tissue issues. Hallie mentors a team of exceptional SLPs and OTs while running her businesses and guiding private practice owners and online medical entrepreneurs. She launched the Untethered Podcast in 2019 to address gaps in pediatric feeding education also covering Myo, Airway, and TOTs. Recognizing the need for knowledge in pediatric feeding and dysphagia therapy, Hallie created Feed The Peds®, Certified Pediatric Feeding Therapist™ (CPFT™) and The Pediatric Feeding Hub™. She also developed The Myo Method® & CMT® Certification for assessing and treating orofacial myofunctional disorders. Hallie is the founder of The Integrated Therapist™, where she mentors clinicians to stop treating symptoms in isolation, start seeing systems, and recognize the patterns others miss. Beyond her work, Hallie gives back through charitable partnerships and scholarships. When not immersed in business, she enjoys family time, including adventures with her fur baby and planning Bulkin family vacations.

LEARNING OUTCOMES
After completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- Describe the structural, motor, and sensory requirements for accurate production across different sound families.
- Differentiate likely phonological patterns from speech errors associated with atypical oral placement, compensatory movement, or structural and myofunctional limitations.
- Identify clinical findings that indicate the need for further assessment or referral related to oral structure, orofacial myofunctional function, airway, dental development, or tethered oral tissues.
This course is offered for 0.10 ASHA CEUs (Intermediate Level, Professional Area).

To be reported to the ASHA CE registry, this registration page must be submitted after you complete the recording. To watch the recording, log into your Kajabi portal, go to “The Integrated Therapist” > “August 2026” and the recording will be found under the training tab.
IMPORTANT: For continuing education credit, the training must be completed in its entirety. You will complete a self reflection survey/quiz following completion in order to obtain certificate of completion and be registered to ASHA CE registry.Â
This training is prerecorded. When can I watch it?
The recording is available on demand in your portal from August 18, 2026 through August 18, 2028. There is no live event and no Zoom registration. Watch it whenever it fits your schedule, and pause or rewind as often as you need.
How do I obtain continuing education credit?
Upon completion of the recorded training, a survey and quiz is sent electronically via Kajabi and email. You must complete the survey and quiz by clicking submit in order to be reported to the ASHA CE registry and receive a certificate of completion. The certificate of completion will be available for immediate download following submission of your ASHA CEU survey form. This must be completed within 7 days of completing the training.
Who is this for?
This registration page is for SLPs who want to learn more about speech sound production, oral structure and function, myofunctional therapy, tethered oral tissues, airway, dental development, and related topics. This is an intermediate-level course and assumes working familiarity with pediatric speech sound disorders.
What happens after I sign up?
You are already signed up for The Integrated Therapist and have access to this training as part of your membership. If you want to be reported to the ASHA CE REGISTRY you MUST COMPLETE this registration page (scroll to the bottom and fill out the entire form).
