Restorative Fascial Work Speaker Q&A

A live follow-up session with Dr. Alyssa Glover-Welch, PT, DPT

Tuesday, November 24, 2026 | 8:00 PM ET

You watched the training. Now bring the clients where the mouth isn't the whole story.

This live session takes the framework from Restorative Fascial Work: Exploring Connections to Oral Function, Feeding, and Airway and puts it to work on real clinical questions submitted by the people in the room. Rather than reviewing the training content, we work at the application layer: how to connect what you see in the trunk, neck, jaw, and breathing to a client's oral function and feeding, what you can and can't conclude from changes seen during care, which findings call for further assessment, and how to work with other providers when whole-body findings are part of the picture.

Questions are collected in advance and grouped into topic domains so the session moves with purpose. This session is designed to sharpen observation and referral decisions. It does not train participants to perform hands-on fascial techniques.

Prerequisite: Completion of Restorative Fascial Work: Exploring Connections to Oral Function, Feeding, and Airway is expected before attending. This is an intermediate-level course and assumes working familiarity with oral function and feeding assessment.

Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  1. Apply anatomical and functional relationships involving the trunk, neck, jaw, and breathing to clinician-submitted cases with oral function or feeding concerns.
  2. Differentiate clinical observations, proposed mechanisms, and research-supported conclusions when interpreting changes seen during care.
  3. Identify whole-body findings in clinician-submitted cases that warrant further assessment or interdisciplinary referral.
  4. Troubleshoot barriers to collaborating with physical therapists and other providers when whole-body findings are part of a client's oral function or feeding presentation.
