This course offers 3 case studies from ages 6 months to 3 years of age to discuss complex pediatric dysphagia assessment, treatment and home programming.

TIME ORDERED AGENDA & LEARNING OBJECTIVES
0-15 minutes: Neurodevelopmental stages required for effective eating and drinking at age 6 months to 3 years.
16-30 minutes: Muscular structures & cranial nerves required for effective eating.
31-75 minutes: Case #1: Medical Complex 6 month old, NGT weaning, assessment & treatment considerations.
76-120 minutes: Case #2: TBI 22 month old, oral motor & swallowing plan.
121-165 minutes: Case # 3: 36 month old, cerebral palsy.
166-180 minutes: Summary, clinical conclusions & resources.
