MEET OUR PRESENTER:Â
Nadine received her Master’s degree in Clinical Speech Pathology from Northern Arizona University and her Bachelor’s in Speech and Hearing Science from Arizona State University. Nadine is a Speech-Language Pathologist and a Feeding Therapist. She is licensed to practice in Maryland, D.C., and California. She is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Nadine is trained in Feed the Peds®, The Myo Method®, Talk Tools, TOTS, STONES Approach, PROMPT, SOS Feeding Therapy, SOFFI, AEIOU, AAC, and more. Nadine specializes in pediatric feeding disorders and AAC (augmentative and alternative communication). She has experience working in a variety of settings including private practice, schools, and in-home. Nadine is passionate about her career and loves forming lasting connections with the families that she works with.

TIME ORDERED AGENDA & LEARNINGÂ OBJECTIVES
0-30 minutes:Â Â Introduction to g-tube feeding and weaning approaches
31-90Â minutes: Case study #1 and #2
91-150 minutes:Â Discussion of modifying the flexible feeding approach for each caseÂ
151-180 minutes:Â Discuss weaning approaches based on nutritionist and GI recommendationsÂ
181-210 minutes: Summary and Conclusion    Â
LEARNING OUTCOMESÂ

- Point out how g-tube feedings and weaning alter the approach to feeding therapy.
- Analyze parent and medical team goals and develop a treatment plan based off of those goals.
