COURSE DESCRIPTION:
The Myo Method: Intro to Orofacial Myology Course teaches all there is to know about assessing and treating patients with orofacial myofunctional disorders (OMDs). The course covers the history and foundation of orofacial myology, signs and symptoms of OMDs, anatomy and physiology of the orofacial complex, assessment, goal writing, treatment planning, carrying out treatment, making necessary referrals, and collaborating with related providers on a patient's team. This course serves as step one in a multi-step certification process if The Myo Method student choose to pursue certification to become a CMT - Certified Myofunctional Therapist.

Hallie Bulkin, MA, CCC-SLP, CMT, COM, QOM is a Business Coach, Feeding Specialist, Certified Myofunctional Therapist, Certified Orofacial Myologist and Speech-Language Pathologist.
Hallie is the founder and director of Little Sprout Therapy & Metro Myo a pediatric practice providing virtual, in-home, and in-school: feeding therapy, orofacial myofunctional therapy, speech-language therapy and occupational therapy across DC, MD, VA, NJ, NY & FL. Hallie specializes in treating infants, toddlers, and children with tethered oral tissues (TOTs), pediatric feeding disorders and orofacial myofunctional disorders across the lifespan.
Hallie has a passion for sharing knowledge with colleagues in the pediatric feeding and orofacial myofunctional therapy spaces. She is the founder of the Untethered Podcast where the goal is to bring information on Myo, TOTs, Airway and Pediatric Feeding to the masses.
