"The Oral [Flux] Diaphragm and the Floor 4: The Mysteries of the Floor of the Mouth Revealed"

CONTINUING EDUCATION REGISTRATION PAGE

Recording available: January 16, 2026- January 16, 2030

(2 Hours, 0.20 ASHA CEUs)

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

The Oral Diaphragm is a pivotal physiological and anatomical structure in the body, and in this presentation, Dr. Neel explains the way it works, how it influences the body, and how the body influences it. He breaks down the role of the tongue, frenum, and the floor of the mouth -- the main parts of the oral diaphragm -- in this dynamic function it has as a functional diaphragm and he also identifies the four main regions of the body that have a distinct relationship with it.  He explains how critical this knowledge along with relevant clinical applications is for anyone guiding patients in any problems related to the orofacial complex.

PRESENTER: Neel Bulchandani DC

Dr. Neel is a integrative specialist, creator of a fusion-system called Embryoloji where he synthesizes many fields and modalities to comprehensively investigate and unlock body pain, tension, and dysfunction. He's a chiropractor, bodyworker, movement teacher, podcaster, and philosopher. He works in person and virtually, has created online courses for both practitioners and patients, and has taught his Floor of the Mouth Protocol via in-person trainings in 2025. Dr. Neel thrives at being involved in collaborative care with other healthcare practitioners. He's often a go-to provider for pre- and post-op bodywork for patients undergoing frenectomies and frenuloplasties, expansion, and other procedures. He has helped many moms breastfeed with more ease, less pain, and more success by utilizing his knowledge of freeing tension associated with oral ties. Dr. Neel also sees many children and adults who suffer from issues related to tethered oral tissues: feeding, airway, digestion, sleep, and TMJ issues. He practices in California in Santa Barbara (home base), Agoura Hills/Woodland Hills weekly, Los Angeles Proper at least once a month, and the Bay Area every 1-2 months. Dr. Neel is married to Dawn, a brilliant writer, poet, and thought leader. She's currently working on her PhD. They have 3 children -- Serenity, Cypress, and Zephyr, and they're following their hearts and intuition daily, looking to encourage and foster micro- and macro- healing in any way they can.
