A simple way to recognize an airway issue in children and adults that you will never be able to unsee!
PRESENTERS: Dr. Layne Martin
Layne Martin, co-founder of The TAO Method™ graduated from StonyBrook School of Dental Medicine in 1998, where he received a scholarship from the US Navy. After a distinguished career in the Navy, Dr Martin entered private practice. He completed the Kois Continuum in 2013, and became a mentor at the Kois Center in 2014.
Layne sold his restorative dental practice in 2018. He completed the Tufts mini airway residency and became a Diplomate of the ABDSM in 2020. He is currently a fellow at CTOR in Hoboken, NJ, in Orthodontics and Craniofacial Orthopedics and will be completing his program in August of ,2021. He has committed the rest of his career to treating sleep disordered breathing problems in children and adults.

LEARNING OUTCOMES
After completion of course participants will be able to:
- Identify airway and sleep issues in children and adults
- Analyze different compensations happening to effectively treat airway issues
- Describe optimal ways to improve sleep
- Analyze treatment options for children and adults airway and sleep
This course is offered for 0.20 ASHA CEUs (Intermediate Level, Professional Area).
To receive ASHA CEUs this registration page must be submitted prior to the webinar. To watch a recording, log into your Kajabi portal, go to "The Myo Membership" > "January 2023" and the recording will be found under the training tab.
IMPORTANT: For continuing education credit the webinar must be completed in its entirety, either by attending live or watching the recording by January 31st, 2023. This live webinar takes place on January 10, 2023 at 7:00pm EST.
What happens if I cannot attend the live webinar?
The recording will be uploaded to your Myo Membership portal following the live webinar. All members have until the last day of the month to complete the training for continuing education credit; Dr. Layne Martin "Airway for the Front Line Warriors" the deadline to watch and receive continuing education credit is 7 days of completion of webinar.
How do I obtain continuing education credit?
Upon completion of the live or recorded webinar, a survey is sent electronically via Kajabi and email. You must complete the survey to receive a certificate of completion. The certificate of completion will be sent via email following completion of the course survey. This must be completed within 7 days of completion of webinar.
Who is this for?
This registration page is for SLPs who want to better understand airway and breathing patterns so they understand when to refer out or how to adapt a patients treatment plan to accommodate airway diagnoses.
What happens after I sign up?
You are already signed up for the myo membership and have paid in full for this month (which includes this training). If attending live, register at the provided zoom event link that will be sent out prior to the webinar event. If watching the recording you do not need to register via zoom. If you want ASHA CEUs you MUST COMPLETE this registration page (scroll to bottom and fill out the entire form).
Refund policy: Per the refund policy when you joined the Myo Membership, you can cancel your future monthly membership at any time before 48 hours before the new month but you will not be refunded for any trainings or materials already provided. If you are unable to join live, you may watch the recording that will be placed in your Myo Membership portal.
If this webinar needs to be rescheduled you will be notified as soon as possible with the new webinar date (no refunds are provided if a webinar date has to be moved by a presenter; a replacement webinar will be provided in the event that this months presenter is unable to present as scheduled).
