Explore the different nasomaxillary expansion options and how they help with Sleep Disordered Breathing (SBD).
PRESENTERS: Dr. Kasey K. Li DDS, MD, FACS
Dr. Kasey K. Li DDS, MD, FACS- Dr. Kasey K. Li enjoys an extensive academic and credentialed career. Specializing in the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea, Dr. Li is distinguished as the only surgeon in the world board certified by the American boards of otolaryngology, oral and maxillofacial surgery, as well as facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. Based on his unique background and experience, Dr. Li has pioneered and refined many sleep apnea surgical techniques. Dr. Li co-founded the multidisciplinary treatment program with Dr. Christian Guilleminault at Stanford Sleep Disorders Clinic in 1998 and is the surgical consultant to numerous sleep disorder centers. He has published more than 100 scientific articles and book chapters on sleep apnea surgery and maxillofacial surgery. Dr. Li has, by invitation, lectured widely throughout the United States and abroad as an internationally recognized expert in sleep apnea surgery.

LEARNING OUTCOMES
After completion of course participants will be able to:
- Describe the different maxillary expansion techniques
- Identify and analyze the pros and cons of each expansion technique
- Describe the outcomes when utilizing maxillary expansion in treating SDB

This course is offered for 0.20 ASHA CEUs (Intermediate Level, Professional Area).
How do I obtain continuing education credit?
To receive ASHA CEUs you must:
1. Register prior to watching the webinar.
2. Watch the entire recorded webinar.
3. Complete the survey within 7 days of watching the webinar. Once completed you will get immediate access to the CEU form which must also be completed within the 7 day window.
4. Complete your CEU form. NOTE: This is due within 7 days of watching the recorded webinar.
5. Once the CEU form is completed you will have access to download your certificate of completion. PLEASE NOTE: It is your responsibility to maintain your certificate of completion. Future requests for certificates will incur an administrative fee of $10 per form.

Who is this for?
This registration page is for SLPs who want to better understand airway and breathing patterns so they understand when to refer out or how to adapt a patients treatment plan to accommodate airway diagnoses.
