PRESENTERS: Ann Blau, MS, CCC-SLPÂ
Ann Blau, MS, CCC-SLP, is a licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologist. She graduated with a Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences from Hunter College of the City University of New York. She is the owner of All Access Speech Therapy, a private telepractice providing speech therapy services to adults and children in the states of New York and Florida.
Based in New York, her practice specialty is in the assessment and treatment of Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders. She provides Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy to adults, adolescents, and school-age children as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to patient care. She has trained with the Academy of Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy (AOMT), and is certified in Simon Says Myofunctional Therapy programs.
Ann has over 15 years of professional experience in the evaluation and treatment of adults with neurogenic speech, swallowing, cognitive, and voice disorders in acute-care hospital and inpatient rehabilitation patients. She has also worked with both adults and pediatric patients in an outpatient setting. She is a certified provider of LSVT LOUD and eLOUD voice therapy for patients with Parkinson’s Disease and is a registered Modified Barium Swallow Impairment Profile (MBSImP™) clinician.
Ann is a member of The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and volunteers as an aphasia support group facilitator and airway health advocate. She is a long-standing active member and mentor in The Myo Membership.Â

LEARNING OUTCOMESÂ

- Explain the four principles of the ASHA Code of Ethics
- Distinguish between ethical and legal issues.
- Apply an ethical decision-making model to professional dilemmas that may be encountered in the workplace.

How can I obtain CEUs for watching the recording?
The recording will be uploaded to your Myo Membership portal. For the duration of your paid membership, you will have ongoing access to watch the recording and submit for ASHA CEUs following completion of this recorded webinar.
How do I obtain continuing education credit?
Upon completion of the recorded webinar, a survey is sent electronically via Kajabi and email. You must complete the survey to receive a certificate of completion. The certificate of completion will be sent via email following completion of the course survey.
Who is this for?
This registration page is for SLPs who want to learn about the ASHA Code of Ethics and how that relates to patients on their caseload and situations they may encounter in daily practice.
What happens after I sign up?
You are already signed up for the myo membership and have paid in full for this webinar. If you want ASHA CEUs you MUST COMPLETE this registration page (scroll to bottom and fill out the entire form). Please note: while there is a deadline to submit for live CEUs, you have access to recorded CEUs for as long as you remain a member of the myo membership.
Refund policy: Per the refund policy when you joined the Myo Membership, you can cancel your future monthly membership at any time before 48 hours before your renewal date but refunds are not provided for months already paid due to the plethora of trainings and materials immediately accessible when you join.
If the release of this training needs to be delayed you will be notified as soon as possible with the new release date. This training is a bonus at no cost to members of The Myo Membership, thus there are no refunds available.
